What is Voice ID?

Voice ID is a security feature that identifies you by the sound of your voice when you call us—think of it as your voice fingerprint. 

Voice ID will provide phone access to our banking services as soon as you have been identified. 


How secure is Voice ID?

Your voice and speech are unique to you. Replicating your voiceprint is difficult. It's like trying to imitate your fingerprint.

Your Voice ID voiceprint is much more than just a basic recording. When you speak to us by phone, Voice ID verifies your identity by analysing over 100 different voice characteristics in your voiceprint. 


How do I enrol for Voice ID?

There is no action on your part or extra steps you need to take, as no extra time is required! When you speak to us on 13 25 85, simply let us know that you want to enrol for Voice ID and continue to talk to our team in your normal voice. We will generate a unique digital representation of your voice called a voiceprint. Once this unique voiceprint is created, Voice ID matches your voice to your voiceprint to ensure it’s you. This will allow you to safely interact with our Customer Relationship Centre by phone, spending less time authenticating and more time focused on why you called.
