Need a safe space to meet with someone?
You can book a private room at a Beyond Bank branch to organise a meeting with a financial counsellor, social worker, lawyer, or other support provider. Simply reach out to a branch close to you and ask to set up a ‘safe haven’ space.

What is financial abuse?
Financial abuse is when someone takes away your access to money, manipulates your financial decisions, or uses your money, property, or assets without your knowledge or consent.
Financial abuse can happen to anyone, at any stage of life. However, there are some people in our community who are more vulnerable than others, including:
- Older Australians
- People with a mental or physical disability
- People experiencing emotional challenges or who are socially isolated
- People in an unhealthy relationship or who are separating from their partner
Often, financial abuse is perpetrated by a person in a position of trust, like a family member, carer or friend, making it difficult to identify or talk about.
Signs of financial abuse:
